Finally, everything is coming together and the Itty Bitty Kitty Show, featuring more than 50 works by 23 painters, illustrators, photographers and sculptors, will open 8 p.m. Monday (as in tonight) here on Arterpillar. That's right, no special grooming required. It's a come-as-you-are party. Just grab a steaming cup of catnip tea or a glass of your favorite wine and a hunk of cheese and come check out the kitties.
The online exhibition, a good Monday night sort of thing to do, is dedicated to Jadey Lady, the longtime friend of artist AdrienneRose Gionta and her family. Jadey moved on in December, but her poise and presence live on forever in the hearts of those she left behind.
Exhibiting artists will include: AdrienneRose Gionta, Alyson Gold, Amy Gross, Barbara M. de Varona, Carol Scott Scheibe, Cynthia Drucker, Diana Contreras, JC Bravo, Jennifer Elderman Ford, Jennifer Love Gironda, Judy Polstra, Justin Invi Vilonna, Kristin Frenzel, Mark Davis, Marlene de Lazaro-Kublin, Misael Soto, Monique Lassooij, Niki Lopez, Paula Turk, Steve Sticht, Tabatha Mudra, Virginia Erdie and Virginia Fifield.
Don't forget. Tonight night. 8 p.m. ... Itty. Bitty. Kitty. If you miss the opening, come whenever you like. The show will remain on exhibit at least until the second annual Itty Bitty Kitty Show in 2014.
PBJ and Lil Red Buttons are very excited.
