One Struggle: Many Voices is One Struggle South Florida's progressive open mike for acoustic musicians, poets, comedians, crafters and artists who are invited to "Come, show and sell your radical stuff." Works should be small so they can be displayed at the artists table and 45 percent of the money from sold art works will go towards One Struggle, mainly for newspaper printing costs. Artists should contact Onestruggle.email@example.com. Requested donation: $5. The next open mike runs 8-10 p.m. Nov. 15 and will continue to be held on the third Thursday of each month through 2012.

Deca, an exhibition featuring works by 10 students graduating with a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in visual arts and art history, will include graphic design, painting, photography and sculpture. Exhibiting artists include Ashley Idell, Brittany Daniel, Katie Clarke, Juan Ledesma, Lisa Mangiafico, Mariela Lechin, Natalie Baron, Natalya Octo, Stephanie Lugo and Tiana Hoover. Pecha Kucha FTL 2.0: Extending the Line will feature "artists from the Girls' Club collection and beyond who use drawing as a springboard for experimentation" and "push the medium to new depths, incorporating hand-manipulated 16mm film, fiber and embroidery, photography, installation, book making and installation into their practice." Exhibiting artists will include Rosemarie Chiarlone and Susan Weiner, Nerieda Garcia Ferraz, Jiae Hwang, Dinorah de Jesus Rodriguez and Carrie Sieh. The event starts at 7 p.m. Nov 15.
