Trash Fashions Fashion Show, billed as "an evening where trash hits the cat-walk before it hits the landfill," will feature models wearing art made from repurposed good by Aidiana Baldassarre, who makes fashions and accessories from plastic, rubber, metal and other found objects. The show, a fundraiser for Gray Mockingbird Community Garden in West Palm Beach, runs 4-6 p.m. Nov. 11 in a place that serves wine and Cuban cuisine.
The Gray Mockingbird is a place where locals can grow their own veggies, with 10 to 15 percent of the food being donated to local hungry people. Suggested donation at door is $25, which includes food, wine and show.
