Second Saturday Art Walk: A Slide Show

I spent some time checking out shows in Wynwood on Saturday and while I had fun, I can honestly say that it might be time to rethink arriving earlier to see more shows, at least for a few months. It was intensely hot. Fortunately, my printable guide to art walk doubles as a fan during heat waves.

But thanks to a break that included a refreshing Golden Monkey beer, I was able to check out several shows including Martin Casuso's solo exhibition Of-Things-Being-What-They-Are-Not, Brian Butler's show Get Lost at Product/81, The Takeover in the old Robert Fontaine space, the DCG Open at David Castillo Gallery and, of course, the graffiti all over the Britto building in Wynwood. But before anyone jumps to any conclusions, I just want to say that despite my name beginning with similar letters C. DOUGher, I am not C Dog. I'm Arterpillar. I don't have a spray can, just a camera.

As such, I brought back plenty of pics to share. You can check them out in the slide show above. To see the captions while watching (because you want details, right?), click the arrow in the middle, then click in the lower right hand corner of the slide show to expand the pics, and then click on "show info" at top right (to see the details that accompany each photo). Or simply view the Flickr set.
