Imaginary Friends
Imaginary Friends, which opens Saturday night at 1310 Gallery in Fort Lauderdale, encompasses three solo art exhibitions on three different floors at Sailboat Bend Artist Lofts.
After Juan Carlos Bravo, Ben Morey and Paul Caprio were recruited for concurrent shows, the artists began communicating through phone calls and texts and discovered they shared similar creative processes. "Our work is driven by coming up with these totally ridiculous characters that are separate from us but convey personal and social issues," explains Morey, who lives in Fort Lauderdale....
